Caitlin Breland, recently named Northeast Florida E-Week’s 2018 Young Engineer of the Year, is Baker Design Build’s civil division manager. She received a bachelor’s degree in both Civil Engineering and Construction Management from the University of North Florida in 2009.
For 10 years, she has been a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), where she served as president from 2014 to 2015. She has been on the Florida Engineering Society (FES) Race for Relevance committee since 2014. She is also actively involved in the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE).
When she isn’t overseeing transportation and land development projects at Baker Design Build, Caitlin spends time with her husband, Jabe and daughter, Adelia. She’s been involved with Dance Trance since 2009, where she also directed the PACE Beginners Program. An avid runner, Caitlin has 20 triathlons, one half ironman and a full marathon under her belt.
