Bobby Baker has over 25 years of experience in civil engineering, inspection, materials testing and geotechnical engineering. He has worked on a wide range of both public and private projects. He is involved in all aspects of roadway design and permitting including traffic analysis, pavement section, stormwater runoff and conveyance modeling, and collection and treatment system sizing and design. Other responsibilities include utility system layout and design, lift station design, retaining wall system design, review and approval of contractor submittals, and research and implementation of green technologies for project efficiency, gray water reuse, wastewater treatment, storm water reuse and treatment, and storm water discharge pollution prevention. Bobby also holds a Florida Certified General Contractor’s license.
Bobby graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s in civil engineering in 2005. He has three children: Brandon, Olivia and Nathaniel. He is actively involved with his church, Southside United Methodist Church. He’s had his pilot’s license since 2016.
